Educational Heroes

I consider the educational heroes in my life as the ones that have led me to the place I am now. In junior high I had a science teacher that really invested her time and interest into each individual student. When I reflect on my high school experience there are only a couple teachers that come to mind that deserve the status of hero. Miss Leaming was one of those teachers. Despite being in a class of thirty students I knew that Miss Leaming cared about me and wanted to transfer her passion about literature to me.
In college the professor that really changed my outlook on college and when it comes down to it he changed my outlook on life. This was the professor I had for in my English research class. What impressed me most about this professor was his passion for the subject and his ability to articulate this to the students. My professor demonstrated that he was dedicated to teaching and this had a profound impact on me. As a result of that class I decided to go into education. Thankful to these educational heroes in my life I am now one semester away from graduating in English education.
