January 25 2011 Google Part 2

This weeks content focused primarily on creating websites through google. Google has setup an extremely user-friendly way to setup a website. This is a fabulous resource for teachers who want to setup an online hub for their classroom. It is a great way for teachers to send out announcements and post resources. This is also a great tool to reach out to the parents of students. Parents can look at the website whenever they want to get the information about the class. I am really excited about this new acquired tool. I really like the survey page because it will be perfect when I want to get a quick assessment of how I am doing as a teacher and I will get some feedback from the students on how they are handling the material. This is a great way to prepare students for college where there is a lot of online colloborating.
